80th Birthday card

I eventually got the 80th birthday card made tonight.  I used the Sweetstop Sketch SSS167 for the layout and the plain card is from SU - lucky limeade and island indigo.  The sheep are decoupaged and the label die is one of a set of three Nestabilities.  The 80 was die cut using a Quickutz set I've had for years now - they're just a perfect size for adding the age to a card.  The paper is 'Marjolaine' from Basic Grey - there were 5 or 6 co-ordinating double sided 12 x 12 sheets - but I've this one all used except for a wee scrap now.

  1. Love those colours together Bernice. Super card.
Re: your query on my blog today (thank you for the lovely comment :) ) The gems dry very quickly with the Promarkers - really as soon as the alcohol evaporates - but I leave them for a wee minute or two to be sure. If, by any chance, they are still wet when you go to place them on your card, you can recolour them in situ. Actually I do that quite often - just pop them in place and colour them there. :)
