A quick birthday card, made using one of the LOTV die cut squares, and paper from the same Papermania pad as yesterday. The cupcake was made using a SU punch and the flowers are punches as well. The Happy Birthday label is from a LOTV clear pack of 36 different wee message labels, for all sorts of occasions. The layout is this weeks
Sketch and Stash (93), although I think it might have been better to have used ribbon for all stripes, instead of twine. The happy birthday stamp and the paper is my new stash and the flower punch and nesties die are now getting old! The colours haven't turned out good as they are IRL, but with the awful weather we're having today, it's no wonder!
Oh Bernice, I love this. What an adorable image, Fab backing papers and a great layout.

Really cute card, Bernice. A regular teddy bears' picnic!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed my use of old rubbish to make art! If you want to take this further, you would certainly enjoy the work of Jennibellie (google her - her blog and Youtube tutorials are awesome and she's so lovely too!) - she's a real inspiration when it comes to making art from recycled stuff - a lot of it would be well within the capability of kids at school, and apart from the paint, they cost literally nothing! It would be a fun challenge for the kids to find stuff at home and bring it in to convert into art.

Lovely card - the bears are so cute. I also like your punched flowers - they are a nice little accent. Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #63
