WOYWW 153

A giant ladybird has taken over my workdesk this week! I've been preparing for a school craft class - some of the children are going to make these ladybirds from felt, so I was having a go to make sure it works out OK!  I can't finish it just yet as I need to be able to show them how to do the blanket stitch around the spots (cut out with one of my Nesties dies!) and then how to sew up the seams.  The card making has been put to one side - I have a wee Magnolia image stamped and was choosing the paper before I coloured  it - maybe I'll get time to colour it tomorrow.  You'll probably notice I had to get my glasses out - I don't need them for card making, but when it comes to threading needles late at night, its easier with glasses!  To see what eveybody else is up to this week, check out Julia's blog HERE!

  19. I love that ladybird he (or she) is so cute, the kids will ove doing that. I have four pairs of glasses. One for normal seeing, one for reading, some super magnifieds for close up and sunnies, so don't worry that you only need them to thread a needle, that would be fantastic for me. :)
    Have a great week.
