A giant ladybird has taken over my workdesk this week! I've been preparing for a school craft class - some of the children are going to make these ladybirds from felt, so I was having a go to make sure it works out OK! I can't finish it just yet as I need to be able to show them how to do the blanket stitch around the spots (cut out with one of my Nesties dies!) and then how to sew up the seams. The card making has been put to one side - I have a wee Magnolia image stamped and was choosing the paper before I coloured it - maybe I'll get time to colour it tomorrow. You'll probably notice I had to get my glasses out - I don't need them for card making, but when it comes to threading needles late at night, its easier with glasses! I'm a part time teacher, married for over 23 years and Mum to Hannah and Nathan. I dabble in most crafts and have been making cards for about 15 years now. I'm a big fan of Stampin Up, Lili of the Valley and Magnolia products. I also make wedding stationery and sell my cards in a local craft shop to help school funds.
