Thought I would get my WOYWW in early for a change as I was working late making cards for my sister tonight - she has sent me an email with a big long list and now informs me that she has been looking up my blog to see if there's any sign of her cards!! So I thought I'd better get started. So far you can see a few sympathy cards - it's difficult to know what to put on them apart from flowers. I've kept them quite simple. I have also die cut a LOTV die cut square and mounted it on SU Rose red card - the patterned paper is also from SU (but no longer available) and I think I'm making a 'Thank You' card with it. You can also see my big roll of double-sided tape - I use this all the time for sticking layers together. On the right you will notice my supposedly non-stick scissors, but I have to keep cleaning them with 'Sticky Stuff remover.' There is also a pile of stamps gathering up again, waiting to be cleaned. If you want to join up the WOYWW, go to Julia's blog

...a busy desk indeed...it is hard with sympathy cards, I think flowers always give comfort...thanks for sharing...Mel :)
ReplyDeleteYour cards are looking amazing already, your sister is so lucky having you make them for her! Sympathy cards are the hardest I think, but flowers are always a good choice....
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! #32
Hi Bernice - I love your writing desk. What a cool crafting spot with all the little cubby holes to keep your stash close at hand - Have you finished your sister's cards yet!!!? :-) Happy WOYWW Helen 35
ReplyDeleteBusy busy - but still working neatly Bernice! I think you have the perfect idea for the Sympathy cards, after all, it's much more about what goes into it than the picture...and simplicity is usually stunning!
ReplyDeleteWow, you look super busy. Lots of cards going on here. Sympathy are always the hardest, but it looks like you have it all under control!
ReplyDeleteI love that paper, of course I would since it's no longer available. Sympathy cards are tough, I usually try to keep them simple, that one is lovely. Happy WOYWW -Mari #38

ReplyDeleteI just became your newest follower:)
ReplyDeleteLove your little desk that you can roll the top over when you don't want to see your mess. lol
A cross, praying hands, a friend hugging and flowers are all sympathy. Somehow they seem more limited than for a Birthday.
A creative desk for sure. Pretty paper I spy! Take care, enjoy WOYWW snooping! Love Zo xx 75
