I have been continuing to build up the stock of cards for sale this week but ran out of mojo last night after an unpleasant hospital 'day procedure' visit yesterday and so they remain unfinished for now. My cardigan is still unfinished as well as I am still putting off the sewing up. I got a nice parcel delivered on Friday though - my duck egg green coloured typewriter! I had seen them in an advert away before Christmas but the only UK stockists were out of stock. Then when I saw Julia's lovely blue one it reminded about it again and I found another company who had them in stock at a cheaper price and with free delivery - even to N. Ireland! It matches my craft room perfectly and I am looking forward to using it on my cards etc. To view all the work desks, visit
Julia's blog HERE.
Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling 100%. Hope you're back up to crafting soon. The typewriter looks great. Sarah #29
ReplyDeletewe are not only similar on organizing our stamps, i have a similar typewriter in my craftroom, yours is new? I picked mine up on a fleamarket. Thx for your visit earlier, vicky
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will have many a pleasant hour spent with your typewriter, I know most clients don't realise that day cases are medically safe but recovery is longer than 24 hours, also check to see if you are experiencing anything that requires a edical check. Post procedure issues will be listed on your discharge advice sheet. If you were not advised, or have no information, and you still feel unwell today then ring the daycase unit and ask if you need to be followed up. Really don't be shy....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cards. I LOVE that typewriter! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #40
ReplyDeleteWhat a great typewriter! i think I have one stored in my basement somewhere. . .great opportunity to get it cheaper and with free shipping! Hope you are feeling better soon, thanks for sharing! Lindart #43
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better now Bernice, that typewriter is lovely. Isn't it funny how something that went totally out of style when we got PC's, is suddenly the latest craft 'must have'. Proves why we crafters are loathe to get rid of anything, I think. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #11 xxx
ReplyDeleteWOW - is that a NEW new typewriter? Lovely colour, mine is just boring black and quite old, well very old from before I was married I'd say if not long before that, I can't remember now. BJ#23
ReplyDeleteooh, that typewriter is gorgeous! hope you feel better soon - great cards that you got done though. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteOh, you are going to have such fun with that typewriter - love the colour btw, very funky!! I'm sorry you feel rough after the procedure, it's weird how something considered trivial can still upset our systems. Take care...

Oh I do hope the procedure effects don't drag on for you, it is my experience that they always underplay the impact of it because for them, it really is over in a day! Still, your lovely new typewriter will be waiting for your must to get bette, and that's a really nice motivation!
ReplyDeleteOh the typewriter brings back memories, doesn't look unlike the one I had in my teens and used to practice on. Sent many a cup of coffee off the desk when returning the carriage. #2
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your typewriter. I love the color! Dorlene #42
ReplyDeleteYour mojo is only just around the corner, it'll be back soon. Loving the typewriter. I'd like one for my playroom but I know i'd play with it for two weeks and then it would gather dust. I hope you have a lot of fun playing with it. Thanks for sharing and have a great week - EmbroidRage #5 x
ReplyDeleteSooooo pretty. I hope to add one of those typewriters to my room. These cards are keeping you busy and they are lovely. Creative Blessings! Kelly #37
