WOYWW 400!

On my work desk today I am trying to decorate a hat to match in with a grey and soft blue outfit - so I have added a shimmery ribbon rosette to the centre of the existing flower and put some feathers in at each side.  I have stitched them in as best I can and also added a drop or two of Collall glue - but I'm just hoping she doesn't wear it on a windy day in case all the feathers fly away!! I now have little fluffy bits of downy feather all over my craft room - so I think I better do a bit of clearing up before I start anything else!     wow - gorgeous hat.. I love hats, though at the moment it is mostly a wooly beenie hat on my head , nothing as chic as that one, dxxx#20

    Happy 400th WOYWW. Gorgeous hat. I have a bit of a phobia about feathers - used to have to get someone else to deal with them when I worked in a craft shop! Ali x #5 currently!

    Great idea Bernice, and it looks wonderful! Nice shape of hat too. And it will be fine...if it is windy, we just blame the wind!!

    hello. That looks so pretty- I wore a hat that sort of colour for my youngest son's wedding. I rather liked it :-) Thanks for popping by and leaving lovely comments. I was a teacher - just saw that you were - I retired early due to ill health - the Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis :-( I try not to give in to it but sometimes is difficult
    Sorry I didn't comment yesterday - I was going to but my mum was admitted to hospital - she went to get results and they kept her. Lots of telephone calls - sadly she doesn't live near to me.
