WOYWW

Now this is the reason why I haven't been making any cards recently - because there's no space left on my desk - its just a big mess!  I even missed last weeks WOYWW - to visit this week go to Julia's blog HERE.  I have been preparing lots of stuff for going back to school and then also for other teachers to cover for the next couple of weeks while I recover from surgery on friday - maybe I'll get time then to tidy up and make some cards.  I did actually make a Golden wedding anniversary one - hence the gold peel offs, but I was in so much of a rush I forgot to take a photo before I gave it away!

On Friday we were at my nieces wedding - the one I made the stationery for.  Everything was very co-ordinated with the pink colour, lace and pearls - even the cake and the table arrangements - it was nice to see how everything turned out in the end.  You may be able to see the place cards - they were wee labels, attached to a rose.  To see the stationery look at this post.

  1. Your desk isn't that bad. Just a few things moved would give you space to craft. Good luck with your surgery. dani #18

  12. Ah, your desk shows the business of your preps though, making cards on the hoof - it makes you panic doesn't it. The wedding looked splendid, my word the organising of all those details was pretty mammoth! Good luck for Friday, I hope you recover well and soundly and are comfortable enough to craft from the get go!

  19. wow, what a beautiful wedding!
Hope you get some time to play soon!
regarding the machine stitching on paper, I don't find that happens generally but you could try a thicker DP, the DP I used on my layout is Authentique which is quite a heavy weight paper. You could experiment with a few different papers and see if it makes a difference. I would love to hear the results!
