On Friday we were at my nieces wedding - the one I made the stationery for. Everything was very co-ordinated with the pink colour, lace and pearls - even the cake and the table arrangements - it was nice to see how everything turned out in the end. You may be able to see the place cards - they were wee labels, attached to a rose. To see the stationery look at this post.

Your desk isn't that bad. Just a few things moved would give you space to craft. Good luck with your surgery. dani #18

Ah, your desk shows the business of your preps though, making cards on the hoof - it makes you panic doesn't it. The wedding looked splendid, my word the organising of all those details was pretty mammoth! Good luck for Friday, I hope you recover well and soundly and are comfortable enough to craft from the get go!
ReplyDeleteCreativity isn't alway tidy .... although my eye was drawn more to that cake!!! Thank you for sharing your space.

It looks like a wonderful day Bernice. I really love all the old china being used. I am collecting a set of trios myself as I want to be able to set my table for a pretty afternoon tea! I will have to learn to make delicate sandwiches and cakes too I suppose!! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 5

wow, what a beautiful wedding!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some time to play soon!
regarding the machine stitching on paper, I don't find that happens generally but you could try a thicker DP, the DP I used on my layout is Authentique which is quite a heavy weight paper. You could experiment with a few different papers and see if it makes a difference. I would love to hear the results!
