My twin nieces will be 2 next Sunday, so Mum asked me to make a card for her to give to them (I still have my own to do!). I thought this wee LOTV image was very suitable for twin girls and I matched it up with pink paper from my latest Papermania pad and some Docrafts lemon linen effect card. I used a Nestabilities die for the scalloped mat and a SU punch. The butterfly is an x-cut punch and the ribbon is from SU. I printed the sentiment on the computer and cut it out using a SU punch. For the layout I followed the sketch on this week's
Friday Sketch Challenge. As I have used a couple of dies I am entering this weeks
Allsorts Challenge - 'Any die will do,' and I can also enter the
CCT challenge - 'Here comes summer,' and the
LOTV one - 'Time to play.' The colours look a bit strange - I thought I would just use natural daylight, but it has turned out very grey! I've also managed to cut off the top and bottom of the shaped card (from Craftwork cards).
Awww simply gorgeous Bernice...:o)
