WOYWW 352

For our weekly work desk visit click HERE to link to Julia's blog.  There are some die cut flowers/leaves on my desk this week as I'm preparing for a class on Friday.  The printed page is for ideas for wooden spoon puppets for my lower primary craft class - it's book week and they are going to do the story of the little red hen with the puppets (well that's the theory anyhow!)
I missed out on WOYWW last week as I forgot what day it was! - I was in shock after receiving a £100 fine for leaving my car in a car park for longer than 1 hour due to having fainted in the shop!!  They called out the ambulance and the paramedic wouldn't allow me to drive (after I refused to go to hospital!!). I took the fine in to the shop to get the manager to write a letter but he was able to get the fine cancelled - phew!!

  1. Oh, I'm so glad that common sense prevailed and you got the fine cancelled...but poor you fainting like that , I really hope you're feeling better now?

  3. Lovely flowers and that's a great idea for the spoon puppets.
Glad you got the fine cancelled - my hubby had a parking fine problem taking his father to hospital - he has a disabled parking sticker but we still got a £100 fine demand as they said we hadn't followed the correct procedure - but we had...taking the sticker into reception and registering our car for disabled parking. We've had it cancelled now thank goodness but these people are very quick to send out fines - I wonder how many people panic and pay rather than fighting them!
    Happy WOYWW

  4. I hope you are okay after your fainting spell, and am glad that you got your parking fine sorted out, it would have been very unfair :( love the sound of the interactive story for your class. The bold flowers look great. Judith xx #32

  6. Looks like you are having fun with that Stampin' Up Blossomy set. Well, what a shocker to get a big fine after fainting. It's a wonder that you didn't faint again. Hopefully that was a one off happening and won't occur again. Take care and come visit my naked desk. PJ #47

  7. Great idea using the spoon puppets for the story full of animals but what a horrible thing to happen - fainting and then being charged for it. Thank goodness you were able to get the money back. Have a happy week x Jackie 23
