WOYWW 201

A very late WOYWW this week - in fact its now the very early hours of Thursday morning.  This week I have been working on a cross stitch baby sampler - it has 12 wee characters from the Beatrix Potter stories around the outside and then the baby's details in the centre - so far I have five of the wee characters stitched. As you will probably have noticed this is not my usual workdesk - it was in fact the end of the sunlounger at the side of the pool at a villa in Cyprus - just beautiful.  Unfortunately now we are half frozen after just arriving back into Belfast and stepping out of the plane to be met with temperatures of around 5 degrees!  Also this week, I completed a lovely 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle - I only bring them on holiday as I would neglect everything else if I was to build one at home!  To find out what eveyone else has been doing this week, visit Julia's blog HERE.

  2. Pretty cross stitch there! I've done a bit in my time and yours looks really even. And I'm envious of the location too, hope you had a good rest. But it is a shock coming back to our laughable Spring temperatures isn't it?
I adore jigsaws, but like you, I can't rest until it has been completed, so they don't come out that often!!

  4. Hi Bernice, you have my sympathies - coming home to these awful temperatures. It surely was a delight to sit by a pool and stitch - and a lovely choice of characters, everybody lovely Beatrice Potter characters. Your completed jigsaw is lovely - looks complicated. I love jigsaw puzzles too but I to get one of those boards to work on. The dining table is the only surface large enough so I can't leave a jigsaw out. Have a wonderful weekend. Elizabeth x #40
