Needles and Pins

The theme on the PFP challenge this week is for needles and pins, so I made this wee sewing themed birthday card.  The Magnolia challenge is 'pretty in pink' so I can enter it there as well.  Then the CCT challenge is 'a stitch in time' and I have followed this weeks Friday sketch challenge sketch - so it fits in to quite a few challenges!  The Magnolia image was coloured using Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the ribbon came from Mei Flower and the paper is from a Prima pad that came free with 'Simply cards and Papercrafts.'  The sentiment stamp is from a retired SU set and the flowers and leaves were made using punches.   I think I would need to practice sewing on card - the machine doesn't grip the card as well as it grips fabric, so its more difficult to keep it straight and even!
