I'm still working on the wedding stationery at my desk this week, so as I can't let you see it yet, here are some of the items made at the weekend as ideas for my Creative Craft class. Another carrier bag store and a wee peg bag to match. For the lettering I used some new alphabet dies - they work really well with felt and then just stitched them on. I have a nice pattern for a cupcake shaped oven gloves so I might try those next if I can get some heat proof wadding.

I've used that fabric!! It's so bright and breezy, love it :) I really like that peg bag..is it a commercial pattern? If so, could I be cheeky and ask which one, hope you don't mind. I prefer it to the one I've got!

Fabulous! love the peg bag! can you believe I haven't used pegs since moving over here? They don't allow washing lines here, I have to tumble dry everything although in the summer I do sneak out an airer and dry our thick things!!!! I do miss the sight of washing blowing in the breeze!

Lovely makes, Bernice, love the striped fabric. And the letters look super on the peg bag. Hope the wedding stationery doesn't take up too much of your time, cupcake shaped oven gloves sound a treat :) Have a great WOYWW. Elizabeth x #104
ReplyDeleteThose are really beautiful Bernice, is this a class for school or outside of it?

awesome project! Love the striped fabric. I remember using the clothesline and having a peg bag. The area we live in now doesn't allow a clothes line!!! I know not such smart founders of this addition. I have a dryer I use all the time and if it can't go in there it goes to a drying rack in the garage. Hope you have a great week! Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving such a nice comment and also for sharing with us! Vickie #41
ReplyDeleteYour bags are awesome and I really love the fabric. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. @107
ReplyDeleteHi Bernice, yes I love that fabric too, I remember when I had a lovely peg bag too (don't know what happened to it) right now my pegs are in a boring plastic basket thingy.
ReplyDeleteMy new paper pad has been used already (for the mini chest of drawers) and I'm happy to say the owl's eyes opened beautifully this morning when I made my first cuppa.
Cheers,

I so need one of them. I leave my pegs on the line and I am forever having to replace them when they rot away! Can't wait to see the cards!
