I thought now that I had my desk all tidy last week, I just might take part in
WOYWW (what's on your workdesk wednesday). The desk is not quite so tidy as it was last week, but I'm in the middle of making a batch of cards, so at least I have an excuse! I found this lovely spotty paper by Basic Grey and thought it was about time I started to cut it up - I tend to save up paper I really like, and find it hard to actually use it! I'll maybe get this card made tomorrow. You may also notice a few packets of wee pearls and crystals - that was part of a package that arrived today from Crafts U Love - there was a stamp as well and some ribbon. It's nice to come home to find something crafty waiting in the letterbox - mind you, they normally deliver things on a Thursday when I'm at work, then take them back to the PO because they don't fit in the letterbox - this is particularly annoying as our PO closes early on a Thursday, so you have to wait 'til Friday to collect it!
wow if that's messy I'm not sure what mine would be called. LOL hope you have a great week
ReplyDeleteI used to do that very same thing, until I decided I'm not going to live forever, I may just enjoy the lovely stash and use it! :^)
ReplyDeleteHi there, I'm a bit behind but wanted to pop my head round the door and say hello. Hoping you have a good and creative rest of the week.

ReplyDeleteYour space is neat compared to mine! Post Offices and libraries are never open when I need them! waving from the hills of North Carolina a day late :)
ReplyDeleteLove your craft space, lovely blog!! Just joined as a follower, Have a good week, Hugs May x x x
ReplyDeleteYour desk is gorgeous and so is that paper! I can see why you would want to hold on to the paper. It is good to use it though and let it get out there in the world and make someone else happy too! ...and the more of it you use up, the more new paper you can buy, right?! Hee hee!

I love getting crafty mail...your desk doesn't look messy to me just busy.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty paper...I think I have that one too!
ReplyDeleteI was saving mine for a nice masculine card...will have to watch for what you create with it.
We also have problems with some delivery drivers, especially if they are using satnavs to find us. They do not list our house number on satnavs (it has only been here for 65 years after all). However, the Post Office is a real nightmare, and refused to deliver a special birthday card to a friend (although I had carefully checked it to make sure it fitted all the right criteria) then charged her an extra 22pence and another £1 for the privilege of driving several miles to the office to collect it for herself - how do they justify that one. Enjoy using that lovely paper. xx Maggie #9
