WOYWW 404
I have been busy making lots of quick cards for filling up the display stand in school and a local craft shop, where I sell my cards to raise money for school funds. I have used a lot of decoupage sheets and toppers as I needed to make quite a few cards in a short space of time. Now I just have the boring bits to do - the inserts and packaging 😩. I finally got Whiskers off my knitting bag (see last week's WOYWW) and have finished the knitting part of my cardigan - I feel the same way about sewing it up as I feel about the card inserts, so it may be a while before it's totally finished and ready to wear! Morning Bernice. Oh, how we all hate the boring finishing off bits! I'm just the same. Every room which has been decorated has a nit which is unfinished.... oops! The cards are great, and will, I'm sure, raise lots of funds.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

I know what you mean about sewing up knitting - especially adding rib/button bands to a cardigan. Hope all the cards sell like hot cakes. It's a brilliant way of fund raising for school funds. Sarah #24
ReplyDeleteAmazing variety of cards! The backhoe has my vote! DBW #23
ReplyDeletewell I wish I could make cards that pretty quickly! it would take me an age... dxxx#28
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, and what a huge selection. I agree, the inserts are the boring part. I always say next time I will do the insert when I make the card and add some stamping to it, but it never happens! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XXX
ReplyDeleteWow, you're cracking through the card making!Good work on getting back on with the knitting. No one likes those little 'connecting' jobs, do they? I love making my tapestries but can never be blowed to get them framed and hung before I'm on to the next one! Have a great week - EmbroidRage #3 x
