Not much by way of crafting on my desk this week - just a decoupage image waiting to be made up into a card and my wee notebook/diary where I keep a record of current challenges I think I might enter. The exciting reason for the passports/boarding passes/tickets etc is that my daughter, my friend and I are all flying over to Birmingham for the big craft fair at the NEC on Friday! Mind you, the flight leaves at 7:10 and we need to leave home around 4am, so we'll probably be half asleep by the time we get there!! (These big pages are covering up an ever increasing pile of inky stamps, needing to be cleaned and put away!) To find out if everyone else has some proper crafty things ongoing this week, pop over to
Julia's blog HERE and join in!
Enjoy the fair with your daughter and your friend it is always so much more fun when you go in a group.. you will have to show us next week all the goodies you get.. Have fun..

Enjoy the craft fair! I am not very good at cleaning my stamps either, I usually do wipe them on an old cloth after using, but it's not thorough cleaning, but it's ok for me - occasionally I do clean right after use if the stamp is very inky, but I don't clean them as vigorously anymore as I did in the beginning. It just takes up too much of my precious crafting time, which is about 1 1/2 hours in the evening at max. (That is including putting everyting on the dining table and clearing it again!)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the excitement and company will keep you awake while you are there. The return trip is a different case - then all three will be exhausted probably!
Hmm I'm not sure if my comment is waiting in the moderating cue, I missed the message.
ReplyDeleteIn any case: Have fun at the fair, and I rather spent my precious time crafting then cleaning stamps thoroughly!
