I can't let you see my actual wordesk this week as its covered with components of wedding stationery, waiting to dry, so instead you are seeing a couple of sewing projects I made in the last few days. The cupcake oven mitt (thanks to Karen for the pattern) and towel hanger are made from the same half metre of material as the peg bag and carrier bag holder from a couple of weeks ago. The shopping bag was made from oilcloth (with thanks to Jan, for the tip about putting sellotape under the sewing machine foot so that it doesn't 'stick' to the oilcloth) and some plain pink curtain weight fabric. I had thought about selling all this stuff at a craft sale when I was finished using it for examples for my students, but I don't think I'll be able to part with the 'owl' bag! - it's a great size for carrying all sorts of things and has a handy wee pocket inside for your purse and mobile (usually my mobile has stopped ringing by the time I find it under everything in the bottom of my bag!) Hannah liked the owl oilcloth so much, she is intending to use it as well, to make a bag for her final item in the Creative craft class.

You always have the most amazing makes on your desk (well not your desk but we know what we mean) I love all three of these items and they are all so useful as well. If you did decide to sell you would have no problem as they will be snatched up
