On my desk this week you will see lots of card and lace - all ready for making another set of wedding stationery in my Christmas holidays. We get two weeks off school so I hope to get the invites made then. I won't start 'til after Christmas as I have to go down to Mum's for a couple of days at the end of next week to help with the turkey plucking - my brother has over 70 of them! - such a horrible job - needless to say it will be roast beef and ham on my menu on the 25th!!
I had some company in my craft room last night - I think she thought if she hid under the basket I would never notice that she was lying up on my nice M & S bean bag!

Oh my looks like you have a lot of work scheduled during your holidays! I had a great time on my cruise but now I am so feeling the crunch of the holiday season. I plan on getting the tree and decorations up by Friday and leaving them till...?? I hope you have your holiday plans more in control then I do! Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving such a nice comment! Have a great week! Vickie #3
ReplyDeleteThe lace is lovely just sitting there waiting for you. And your kitty is cute. Not quite as invisible as she thinks she is. :) ~ Laura #90
ReplyDeleteLol at your camouflaged puss cat - she's trying so hard to be invisible! Good luck with all the plucking and stationery over the holidays :)

I think if someone asked me to do a set of wedding stationary at the moment, I would just curl up into a little ball and sob. You are so brave taking that on. All I can think of is getting the Christmas stuff sorted out. Thank you for your visit today, and have a good week. xx Maggie #33
ReplyDeleteYes please share the finished stationary as the parts n pieces look so very pretty. I spy a kitty not quite as invisible as they think! LOL Happy WOYWW! Nan 14
ReplyDeleteooh love all the card and lace. Good luck with the invites and the turkey plucking! Your cat looks so cute under the basket. Thanks for sharing. Lou #93
ReplyDeleteIsn't it cute when the cats hide in places and peep out at you. She looks adorable and I would have to give her the M&S cushion.
ReplyDeletePlucking lots of turkeys sounds horrendous, no wonder you are having an alternative for Christmas with all those to do.
Sounds as if you are going to be busy after Christmas as well as now (incidentally the poinsettias on my holiday desk are still bagged up and not a card in sight - how long to Christmas?)
