The
Allsorts challenge this week is to 'Make a gift.' So here are a couple of felt brooches I made for my sister, to co-ordinate with a scarf she had been given. I used various dies to cut the felt - it cuts really well on my Vintaj machine. The heart shaped button came on a label from White Stuff! - I have to buy lots of their stuff just to get the buttons now!!!
Love these Bernice - they make great little gifts too!
ReplyDeleteYou asked me about the SECC v NEC this year. I enjoyed both as they are superior in every way to the one in Belfast. I actually found getting to the NEC was more convenient whereas we went by boat to the SECC and had quite a long journey in front of us by car, then we had to negotiate our way round Glasgow. The NEC was bigger and if I go again, I'll be better prepared for the amount of time it takes to wander round the stands. I would pace myself too - I was totally exhausted at the end of the day. :) On the whole I would not mind going back to the NEC but that's just my opinion. I went with friends each time and thankfully that included someone who had been before and could keep us right on directions etc. Have a great time whichever one you decide on. x
Oh these are stunning - such a fabulous gift your sister is sure to love them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with us at Allsorts this week.
Good luck.
